Dear Readers,

 

I hope you will enjoy my stories. 

 

They couldn’t have been written without the people in my life who have autism,  people whom I love and admire. 

 

I write under a pen-name for many personal reasons, what can I say? 

I’m a daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend. I work long hours at a hefty day job and enjoy nature, including the company of a cat and a dog. I’m not a doctor, psychologist, teacher or scientist and nothing of what I write is professional advice.

 

I thought up my stories from personal experience, back in the early 2000’s, but didn’t think of publishing them until recently: when I heard on the radio define “autistic” as “unable to form relationships” I imagined the pain this announcement was giving to people on the spectrum and to those who loved them. I therefore resolved to make a contribution, however small.

 

Giovanna, lovely owner of “Il Ciliegio” publishing house, liked my stories and thought they were worth telling, so we made it happen.

 

I set up this website to share some of the thoughts behind my books and provide some information and links to help those who wish to learn more.
